ABOUT SAFEMAMA
Safemama is a Maternal Early Warning System (MEWS) solution that helps improve on early detection, management and follow up of pregnant women who develop hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (Pre-eclampsia).
OUR APPROACH
Early Detection
Early detection of pre-eclampsia in the community using self-diagnostic wearable that measures and analyses the blood pressure of pregnant women at the comfort of her home or place of work
Timely Referral
Timely referral to healthcare providers using our integrated system and network of Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs) and the Village Health Team (VHTs).
Effective Management
Effective management and efficient follow-up of pre-eclampsia patients through systematic coordination with the healthcare providers and the client.
